Audrey Tautou
Audrey Tautou is the youngest of four children born on August 9, 1976, in Beaumont Puy of Domme. Her parents a dental surgeon and a teacher recognised and supported her love of acting and theatre as early as she was a child. This superseded an initial desire to become a primatologist due to her love of monkeys. The early success of her career and the rapid increase in recognition marked her as a young actor. Her career began in earnest at the age of 1999 after which she began acting professionally. After her studies, Tautou participated in the French television show for talent scouting called Jeunes Premiers. Although she studied at the Institut Catholique de Paris and went to church as a child, Tautou is now averse to the Catholic tradition, saying that she's not Catholic. Along with her acting career, she pursued a modelling career. Also, she is the face of L'Oreal Mont Blanc & Chanel and is sometimes referred to as the Chanel Muse. She also has a serious interest in photography and recently exhibited her work for the Arles Festival with the name Superficial. Her photographs concentrates on fame and fame. The camera is turned on journalists who examined her rise to stardom in Amelie. Audrey Tautou became a star after her international fame was established with her first role in Amelie Poulain in Le Fabuleux Destin d'Amelie. Amelie is a box office hit internationally and praised at many award events around the globe. Amelie has been the most financially successful french-language film to hit the US. After this huge success, Tautou went on to star in many films which included British dramas such as Stephen Knight's Dirty Pretty Things and Jean-Pierre Jeunet's Un long Sunday de fiancailles. Tautou also appeared alongside Tom Hanks in Ron Howard's The Da Vinci Code directed by Dan Brown.
