Annie Mist Thorisdottir, an experienced professional CrossFit athlete from Reykjavik Iceland. She runs and owns Crossfit Reykjavik in Iceland, in which she is a coach for athletes. Annie is the only woman to take home in the CrossFit Games twice. Her second place was both in 2010 and 2014. Annie Thorisdottir is an Icelanders weightlifter CrossFit champion and media celebrity. Her fame stems from her being the first woman to win in the CrossFit Games twice in 2011 and 2012. She is also known as having been the winner of the Dubai Fitness Competition in both 2013 and 2017. Annie and her parents and siblings were all born and brought up at Reykjavik Iceland. Annie was an avid sportsperson and started working out at when she was a young age. The first time she competed was in CrossFit in California in the year 2009. Her performance was good in her initial games. Annie Thorisdottir was 31 years old of age (as at 2021). Her height stands at 5'7" and she weighs around 67kg. Annie started CrossFit in California, in 2009. The first time she competed, she was very successful and was ranked in the top 10 among 70. However she was unable to take home any titles and ended the competition in 11th place. In 2010 Annie finished 1st in European Regionals Qualifier. With the guidance of Jami Tikkanen, Annie placed second in CrossFit Games and was awarded an award of Silver that year. Following a long period of CrossFit Games, Annie won her first CrossFit Games. Her dominant accomplishment was enough to earn her the title. Annie's outstanding performance in 2012 helped to her a third CrossFit Games victory. This was her second consecutive time she won consecutively. Additionally, in 2014, she was awarded a silver medal and recently in 2021 won the bronze medal at CrossFit Games. Annie coaches and train in Crossfit Reykjavik that she started. As she has gained more recognition as an athlete, Annie is a model for a number of brands in sports, such as Reebok Rogue Fitness Transparent Labs Renaissance Periodization Nuun Hydration Sidekicks Yerbae and many other brands. In addition, she has her own Youtube channel titled "Annie" which has over a thousand subscribers. This is where she uploads videos about the diet of her training, life with family as well as travel.
